Well, we have had a great (and very busy time) catching up with as many friends and family as possible over the last couple weeks. Unfortunately we weren't able to catch up with everyone we would have liked, hopefully we can see you all next time we're in town. We're really glad we did the trip home and now it's time to hit the road again. We feel like our official trip around Australia is now beginning as we are finally all organised. So 7am tomorrow morning we leave for an indefinite amount of time. Who knows how long! It's a little daunting and scarey but at the same time exciting... Since we have done the coastal road to Cairns and back already, we decided to head to Cairns via a more western route camping along the way. We hope hope hope it's not going to be too freezing! (we've bought a blanket from vinnies to go with our one old, thin sleeping bag)...
Geoff has mapped-out our route (love google maps). This may change but it'll give you a rough idea of where we should be...
Weds Night = Moonie (on the river)
Thurs Night = Expedition Range
Fri Night = Blackwood National Park
Sat Night = Undara Volcanic National Park area
Sun Night = Cairns
